Daf Yomi Calculator is a simple program that calculates and displays what Daf you should be learning today.
1. Download the appropriate Zipfile for your device:
If you have a Palm Size Windows CE devices, e.g. Pocket PC or Palm-size PC, then download PPCDaf.zip to your computer
If you have a Handheld Windows CE devices, e.g. HPC 2000, HPC PRo, and HPC 2.0, then download HPCDaf.zip to your computer
2. Unzip the file on your computer - it contains two files, a "runtime" file, and the "DafYomi.exe" file.
3. Run the first program (runtime.ppc.exe or runtime.hpc.exe) to automatically load it onto your device.
4. Transfer the DafYomi.exe program from your computer to your device. There are a number of ways to do this:
A: Many people have a special My Documents folder on their computer that you can simply copy and paste the dafyomi.exe file into, and it will automatically get loaded onto your device.
B: -OR- Right click on the dafyomi.exe file, select Send To, then select your device.
C: -OR- Use Windows Explorer to copy and paste the file onto your device.
5. Go to File Explorer on your device, find DafYomi.exe, and click on it to run the program.
6. (Optional) If you want to make it easier to find and run the program on your device, you can put it into your device's Program menu by doing the following:
A: Find the DafYomi.exe program in File Explorer
B: Tap the name and hold it until a menu appears, then click Copy
C: Change the directory to Windows / Start Menu / Programs
D: Tap and hold on a blank spot on the screen, then click Paste Shortcut
